Weigela - Spilled Wine
Weigela Spilled Wine, Weigela florida 'Bokraspiwi', has wavy leaves that have a rich, dark purple-red color that intensifies to near black in late summer; does not fade to green like some older selections!  This handsome deep purple foliage adds a delightful extra touch to this plant! There is a spring flush of hot pink magenta flowers, with additional flowering through summer and fall. The tubular flowers are adored by swarms of hummingbirds that enjoy the nectar of these bright, colorful flowers. This smart little shrub looks like an exotic special, but actually it's easy to grow, very dependable, and super long-blooming.  Prune to shape after flowering, and fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer. Spilled Wine has a spreading habit and is a smaller plant--wider than it is tall.  This plant is beautiful as a specimen, in the mixed border, or foundation plantings; loves full sun, and is deer resistant. * Extremely adaptable * Spectacular colors

The Azalea Encore 'Autumn Coral', Rhododendron Hybrid 'Conled', is an evergreen azalea that is an extremely heavy bloomer throughout the summer and fall. This azalea has a single form that has soft coral pink flowers, dotted with bright fuchsia centers, and blooms profusely throughout the summer and fall months. Having a medium growth rate, this repeat bloomer makes a great foundation plant. This new variety possesses a unique blooming time and is superior in development of a dense plant with attractive single pink flowers. A site sloping to the north or east is usually best because it is less subjected to rapid temperature changes in late fall or early spring; needs wind protection. Filtered sunlight is ideal, but morning sunlight is best; plant may survive continuous shade if trees have branches pruned high. Protection from afternoon sun may also be given by fences, shrubbery or screens. Roots of azaleas and rhododendrons are very delicate and unable to penetrate heavy or rocky soils; excellent drainage is important. * Prefers acid soils* Attracts butterflies* Long bloom time

Witch-hazel - Common - DetailsWitch-hazel - Common - Sale Price: $64.25
The Common Witch-Hazel, Hamamelis virginiana, is extraordinary in its flowering habits. It flowers in late October to early December. Many times its slender yellow petals are the only signs of color in the dormant woods. Witch-hazel is pollinated by the winter moth. After pollination, the fruits become dormant for the winter, developing over the following growing season and maturing in the fall, 10-12 months after pollination. Seeds are dispersed by gravity, or are eaten and excreted by birds. Witch-hazel seeds germinate the following spring or enter the seed bank. Early growth is slow, and in fact remains slow throughout the life of the tree in its typical shady habitat. As individuals, witch-hazel probably does not live more than 100 years, but they reproduce from root sprouts, and clones may live for a very long time.

Euonymus - Canadale Gold - DetailsEuonymus - Canadale Gold - Sale Price: $26.95
The Euonymus Canadale Gold, 'Euonymus fortunei 'Canadale Gold', produces large green leaves with a deep golden yellow margin that are borne on strong branches to form a sturdy compact plant. The flowers are not ornamentally significant, but it produces pink capsules from mid to late fall. This Euonymus is a multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a ground-hugging habit of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. This shrub performs well in both full sun and full shade. It is very adaptable to both dry and moist locations, and should do just fine under average home landscape conditions. Zones 5-9. * Widely Adaptable Ground Cover!
