Viburnum - Sargent Cranberrybush - Sale Price: $68.50 The Sargent Cranberrybush Viburnum, Viburnum sargentii, is very similar to American Cranberrybush, but will not grow as large. This shrub has beautiful white blooms with a low-to-the-ground branching habit. It will form a large upright, rounded, multi-stemmed shrub. It has a fantastic red fruit display with bright, translucent red drupes lasting well into January.  In the fall, it provides an excellent red-purple color. 'Sargent Cranberrybush' Viburnum is very much like the 'Snowball' Viburnum, except that the leaves are thicker in texture, and it bears fruit. When used as a specimen or patio tree, leave plenty of room for root expansion.  It grows best in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil.  Sargent is very vigorous and resistant to aphids.  Will fruit best in sun but will also grow and flower in partial shade. Viburnums add seasonal interest with flowers, colorful fruits, fall color, stem and bark color, texture, and form.  There is always space for a viburnum in any landscape, and this one will look terrific in yours as well!

Ninebark - Darts Gold - Sale Price: $29.95 The Ninebark 'Dart's Gold', Physocarpus opulifolius 'Dart's Gold', is named for its broad three-lobed golden spring foliage, which turns lime green in the summer. This fine shrub is also notable for its wide arching branches tipped with pink-dusted white flowers. Dart's Gold is a very adaptable deciduous shrub. It will tolerate dry conditions. For best results, place in full sun to light shade. It will need at least 6 hours of sun to perform. This Ninebark has golden leaves, white flowers, red fruit, papery bark, and is attractive in winter. Use this plant in the landscape as a border or background for perennial or annual flower beds or in foundation plantings of larger buildings. The Dart’s Gold is a fast grower and new shoots can be cut and used in floral arrangements. As with most ninebarks, it has attractive exfoliating bark and attractive fruits for 4 season interest. Rejuvenate by pruning to base in the spring.

'Aphrodite' bears dark hollyhock-like rosy-pink flowers with deeper red eyes from late summer until mid-fall. This cultivar is a sterile triploid that produces very few if any seed pods. Aphrodite is an excellent flowering shrub that may be massed, planted in groups, or used as a specimen. The plant is very tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Larger flowers may be obtained by pruning back hard to 2-3 buds in early spring. Otherwise, prune to shape. You will love these flowers! Wow!
