Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis
The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis, 'Dicentra ‘specatabilis’, is a fast-growing perennial with pink, heart-shaped flowers. It is the most common variety in its species. The blooms look wonderful against its grayish foliage.  Dicentra ‘specatabilis’ has a plant height of 30” and a width of 20”. This Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out. This Bleeding Heart will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies. The foliage does go dormant, so it is best to plant this bleeding heart among later developing perennials such as hostas and ferns which will fill in as the bleeding heart foliage begins to die back. ‘Specatabilis’ makes excellent cut flowers, in mass with groundcovers, or in potted containers. Since it has been an old fashioned garden favorite for many years, it is a must in any landscape! * Disease resistant * Fast growing * Heart-shaped flowers

Rose - Red Meidiland® - Shrub - DetailsRose - Red Meidiland® - Shrub - Sale Price: $71.35
Red Meidiland® Rose, Rosa 'MEIneble' (PP7,116), is covered by small, dense leaves of glossy dark green. It produces clusters of single red roses (to 3” diameter) with white centers and yellow stamens in a continuous bloom from May to frost. The flowers have no fragrance. The blooms are borne in sprays of seven to fifteen. The end of the season brings a special attraction as orange-red fruit persists along bronze winter stems. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Red Meidiland is a low-growing shrub rose with a creeping habit that is often grown as a ground cover. It typically grows with arching or cascading stems to 1.5 to 2 feet tall and spreads to 4 to 5 feet wide. Meidiland roses are landscape and ground cover roses that come from Meidiland of France. A groundcover of dark green and sparkling with red flowers!

Hemerocallis Super Honor, Hemerocallis 'Super Honor', has a robust fragrance and symmetrical flower with frilly ruffled petals. The large 6 purple flowers appear in late July above slender but strong scapes. ‘Super Honor’ flowers open flat to reveal a large lemon-lime throat surrounded by a darker purple band on the petals; petals also display darker purple veining. This very dramatic daylily has an exemplary plant habit and can stand the heat of summer; opens well under varying weather conditions which can occur in summer! Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). No other Daylily equals the majesty of 'Super Honor'!  It is one of the most dramatic daylilies you can have in your garden! * Long blooming * Fragrant * Dramatic and durable

Butterfly Plant - Cinderella - DetailsButterfly Plant - Cinderella - Sale Price: $39.95
Butterfly Plant Cinderella, Asclepias incarnata 'Cinderella', is a virtually hassle-free perennial, offering three months of vanilla-scented, rose-pink flowers in large, compact clusters from midsummer to early fall. Deadheading the flowers will stimulate another bloom cycle about a month after the first one. The flowers, which are heavily laden with nectar and pollen, are particularly attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects. Asclepias incarnata is easily grown in medium to wet soils in full sun. It is surprisingly tolerant of average well-drained soils in cultivation even though the species is native to swamps and wet meadows. Plants have deep taproots and are best left undisturbed once established. Foliage is slow to emerge in spring. Once established, Swamp Milkweed requires little care. Though it is perfectly cold-hardy in the north, mulching plants in winter will help prevent frost-heaving. In spring, trim back last year's growth and await the beautiful new foliage that will appear a bit later than other perennials. Following the fabulous flowers, typical milkweed seed pods develop which rupture to reveal seeds with long, silvery-white, silky hairs. * These are great to use in dried flower arrangements! * Deer resistant * Long bloom period
