Clematis - Terniflora - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Terniflora, Clematis 'Terniflora', produces masses of small 1 creamy white flowers that completely cover this plant. Its sweet scent is an added bonus and is sure to get the attention of anyone who walks by! ‘Terniflora’ is very impressive with its deep green leathery leaves and profuse blooming.  Flowers give way to attractive, plume-like seed heads. Clematis 'Terniflora' needs a supporting structure to grow properly and it is easy to grow with a rich, porous, alkaline soil that has plenty of room for the roots to spread.  It can be kept smaller with pruning. Because of its extremely rampant growth habit this clematis may need hard pruning in fall or early spring. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, but will thrive and bloom in shade. 'Sultry Kiss' hibiscus displays brilliant, deep red buds that open to 9-11 inch wide, overlapping, purple-red flowers.  This hibiscus forms an upright mound of foliage that is well-branched with maple-like, dark green leaves that are bronze when they first emerge; and then mature to a dark green with reddish-purple stems. It provides a profusion of color from midsummer until frost. This super-long blooming shrub attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds all season long. 'Sultry Kiss' hibiscus need very little care over the winter; root hardy and needs no protection. 'Sultry Kiss' will die to the ground each year, so should be cut back to 4-6 from the ground in the spring.  Be careful not to over-water until plants show signs of growth.  Moist soils are best, but this hardy hibiscus is very drought tolerant as well.   It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture.  Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring.  For best performance, plant in full sun in moist soil, before the heat of the summer. When Vino reblooms in late summer, the flowers become smaller, about 5 in diameter, and a lighter color. The Vino flowers are borne on side shoots growing from last year's shoots. Vino will bloom primarily on old wood of the previous season, with a second flush later in summer.  If necessary, prune it back every second or third year to just above a set of buds about 6-8 inches from the ground to allow it to rejuvenate. Vino prefers part shade and well drained soil. It has green foliage throughout the season and the compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. Winner of the 2001 RHS Award of Garden Merit, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is a little shorter than the rest of the Coreopsis family. With a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”, its delicate dark green foliage has an airy and delicate appearance. ‘Zagreb’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens.
