Grass - Variegated Feather Reed
Grass - Variegated Feather Reed, Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Overdam', displays white and green leaves, and its smaller size makes it more refined than 'Karl Forester'. In some ways, it is even more pleasing than its big brother, Karl. It has medium blade width and flowers in June through July. It will most likely remain upright throughout the winter. Variegated Feather Reed does well in heavy clay soils, unlike many of the other ornamental grasses. It provides an excellent vertical accent for borders and for narrow spaces in the landscape. It is also effective in moist low spots or on pond/stream banks. With ample moisture it will do well in full sun, but likes a little shade in hot climates. Variegated Feather Reed works well as a specimen, or incorporated into a border and makes a good low screen, especially in somewhat shady areas. Use as a backdrop for roses and other perennials. It should be cut back in early spring, just before the new growth starts. Create your own dried arrangement, because this grass does make a wonderful display for your favorite vase or basket! * Variegated * Accent plant

Pumila Dwarf Pampas Grass, Cortaderia selloana 'Pumila', is probably one of the most impressive perennials we grow! 'Pumila' is a dwarf pampas grass with huge 18 inch feathery white plumes. The showy, silvery-cream plumes feel silky to the touch and are perfect for use in dried arrangements.  Cortaderia 'Pumila' is a very good grower and much more cold hardy than the species. 'Pumila' thrives in hot, full sun exposures and is especially useful as a specimen along walls and in corners. Plant it in moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in early-spring. 'Pumila' is sterile and won’t re-seed itself. Protect crowns of young plants in winter. Hosta - Elegans - DetailsHosta - Elegans - Sale Price: $42.75
'Elegans', Hosta sieboldiana, is an extra large hosta with heart-shaped leaves.  Being blue-green in color, it has a heavy, deeply tucked texture with powdery like cast which make it very striking! The white flowers bloom from July to August, and this plant has a height of 30” and a spread of 48-60”.  'Elegans' provides bright color in shade with its colorful textured foliage. Hosta ‘Elegans’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area.  This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and one of the most popular for landscape uses.  A great choice for any beginner gardener! This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions.  Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth.   Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly to hostas! 'Elegans' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. This blue-green giant hosta will certainly be outstanding wherever it is planted! * Textured * Heart shaped leaves * Blue-green foliage

Columbine - Blue Barlow - DetailsColumbine - Blue Barlow - Sale Price: $49.95

The wonderful plants perform best when planted in partially shaded areas.  Blue Barlow blooms in late spring to early summer and it can be used as a cut flower. Columbine is an easy to grow perennial  and produces large, showy blooms of single and bicolor patterns on airy plants with blue-green foliage.    Being very hardy, the columbine will likely survive the first light frosts, and then go dormant for the winter. Blue Barlow will do well in average soils and tolerates dry soil conditions; the soil should be well drained. This plant does not require mulching or protection in the winter. Hummingbirds love the showy blooms that are loaded with nectar! * Hardy * Double blooms * Tolerates dry soils
