Holly - Castle Spire - Sale Price: $49.95 The Holly Castle Spire, llex 'Castle Spire' (PP14,310), a Proven Winners selection, is one of the new blue hollies that works great as a foundation plant.  This plant will attain heights of 8 to 10 feet and never be more than 3 feet wide. This narrow form makes it great for hedges, foundation plantings, or as a specimen.  'Castle Spire' is a beautiful new compact, pyramidal blue holly with large lustrous dark green leaves, bright red berries, and superior branching. It is a well-branched plant with flowers forming flat clusters by mid-June, ranging from a mixed pink to white. This dense, mounded shrub has medium-green leaves that are oval and toothed.
