This rose makes a colorful hedge and flowers until frost with bright orange-red hips that persist far into winter. Deadheading will encourage reblooming. The single pink flowers measure about 2 to 2.3 inches across. The flowers are borne in clusters and have very little fragrance. The foliage is medium green and quite thorny. This plant should be pruned in late winter, early spring. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient.
