Sea Thrift - Splendins
The Splendins 'Sea Thrift', Armeria maritima, has wonderful pink flowers that contrast well with its dark evergreen, tufted foliage. This plant is very floriferous in spring and early summer. 'Sea Thrift' is an excellent plant for use in rock gardens or edging. Deadheading will prolong flowering. Armeria is salt tolerant and is often grown along the coast line. With a plant height of 6 and a spread of 10, its grass like foliage stays evergreen throughout the season. It is best planted in sandy soils in full sun. Use this plant for edging, containers, border fronts, or massed in a small area. Splendins is a tough plant. It will tolerate dry soil, shallow rocky soil and drought. It performs best in well drained, porous soils. Heavy wet soils tend to cause the crown to rot. * Dividing should be done in early spring. * Clump-forming * Dense * Compact

This is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. It is at home in well moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant ‘Patriot’ in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves. With its outstanding coloration, ‘Patriot’ is one of the most striking and exciting hostas to have in your shade garden! * Heart shaped leaves * Bright coloration * Excellent specimen

Columbine - Blue Barlow - DetailsColumbine - Blue Barlow - Sale Price: $49.95

Arching, lavender-gray panicles appear in mid to late summer. The drooping leaf characteristic gives rise to the name “weeping” lovegrass. This grass grows on almost any well-drained soil, but prefers the sandy loams; also will grow on low fertility soils; responds well to fertilization. Clematis - Rhapsody - DetailsClematis - Rhapsody - Sale Price: $42.75
Clematis Rhapsody, Clematis 'Rhapsody', is an outstanding cultivar with broad, pointed, dark indigo-blue flowers. As the 5 flowers mature the color becomes even more intense. Very free flowering and one of our favorites! Compact grower; great for containers, balconies and small gardens.  Groom this clematis after flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. This encourages new growth for possible summer bloom. Clematis 'Rhapsody' needs a supporting structure to grow properly.  Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performer once established and takes a season or two to get going! Plant 'Rhapsody' in a container in a place where everyone can enjoy its dark indigo-blue flowers all season long! * Reliable * Intense color * Compact grower
