Dianthus - Fire Star - Sale Price: $39.95 The Dianthus Fire Star, Dianthus 'Fire Star' (PPAF), has vibrant red flowers with a dark red eye.  The flowers provide a striking contrast as they appear on evergreen, glaucous grey-green foliage; the foliage gives off a spicy scent of cloves!   The red flowers with a deeper crimson eye appear on stems rising slightly above the foliage mound to 8” tall; flowers bloom 3-5 per stem.  Flowering may continue sporadically throughout the summer. Yarrow - Moonshine - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Moonshine’, Achillea 'Moonshine'’, is an upright canary-yellow flower that blooms from June through September. With evergreen foliage in mild winter regions, this non-spreading Achillea is a definite winner. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is unlike the common Yarrow, being shorter in height and less invasive. The flower heads are 4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is a great addition to a sunny perennial border, planted in pots or combined with ornamental grasses. ‘Moonshine’ can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. It produces beautiful deep purple daisy-like flowers that are a bit larger than the rest of its family.  It was Perennial Plant of the Year in 1998, one can see why! ‘Magnus’ blooms from July to October and is a major attractor to butterflies and bees; deer resistant.  It is a must for any perennial garden.  With its dark green foliage, Echinacea ‘Magnus’ stands 3’ high with a plant spread of 18-24”. Hosta - Regal Splendor - Sale Price: $56.95 Hosta Regal Splendor, Hosta 'Regal Splendor', is a stunning sport of Hosta 'Krossa Regal'.  It demonstrates the same upright vase shaped habit as 'Krossa Regal', but the frosty blue leaves are edged with a creamy yellow margin.  This very elegant looking host provides tall stems of lavender flowers that appear in August.
