Veronica - Giles Van Hees
Veronica Giles Van Hees, Veronica 'Giles Van Hees', has long clusters of bright pink flower spikes that top mounds of dark green foliage, adding lively color to your garden. Veronica 'Giles Van Hees' is a dwarf variety standing only 6 tall, making it a perfect plant for containers or the front of the border. Easy to grow, 'Giles Van Hees' will begin flowering in mid-summer attracting butterflies with its sweet nectar. This perennial is tolerant of a wide range of well-drained soil types. Amending soils, especially very heavy and light types, with generous amounts of organic matter will result in improved performance. Deadheading promotes more blooms. To keep it re-blooming, prune off old flower spikes as they fade. New growth will begin and in a few weeks new flower spikes will emerge. If you are looking for a showy perennial that produces gorgeous pink flowers for a long period, then this plant is it! Use this plant in window boxes and in planters, small and large!
