Viburnum - Chiquita Heavy Blooming Compact Viburnum Viburnum - Chiquita, Viburnum sargentii 'Chiquita', is a compact form of sargent viburnum that flowers and fruits nicely. The creamy white pinwheel-like flowers appear in late May. 'Chiquita' produces scarlet-red persistent fruits that are showy against a backdrop of yellow-orange fall color. ’Chiquita’ is an excellent bloomer with abundant fruit set and is certainly a shrub for all seasons! This graceful shrub exhibits an enduring cold hardiness and prefers rich, moist soil and blooms best in full sun, but can also tolerate partial shade.
