Purple Wintercreeper Euonymus - Sale Price: $49.95 Purple Wintercreeper Euonymus, Euonymus fortunei 'Coloratus', also known as Wintercreeper and Wintercreeper Eunonymus, is a dense, woody-stemmed, broadleaf evergreen plant which comes in a variety of forms. Euonymus fortunei 'Coloratus' (commonly called purple wintercreeper euonymus, is primarily a trailing ground cover form which typically grows to 6-9 tall and spreads indefinitely by rooting stems as a sprawling, tangled, bushy mat. It is similar in habit to English ivy, in that it spreads along the ground, rooting as it goes, until it reaches a vertical surface which it then begins to climb. It features lustrous, ovate to elliptic, dark green leaves (1-2 long) which turn dark purple in fall and winter. Purple Wintercreepers have inconspicuous, greenish-white flowers that may appear in June. The flowers are at best sparse, but are usually not present. If allowed to climb a wall, tree or other structure, this plant assumes more vine-like characteristics and is more likely to produce flowers, though still sparse and inconspicuous. 'Coloratus' is sometimes sold as Euonymus fortunei var. coloratus. It is one of the most popular evergreen ground covers available in commerce today.This plant is a good ground cover for slopes. It is also used for container plantings, massing and erosion control.

Yarrow - Paprika - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Paprika’, Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September. With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. ‘Paprika’ is excellent for cutting, fresh or dried. Remove faded flowers regularly to promote continued blooming. Inclined to spread, so site this carefully or plan to reduce the clumps each spring. For an attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can’t go wrong with this plant.

Hosta - Wide Brim - Sale Price: $99.95 The Hosta ‘Wide Brim’ has a deep blue-green center with very wide, irregular margins of cream with gold tints at maturity, making it very striking. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, hostas are not known only for their flowers.  With this plant having a height of 20” and a spread of 32-36”, ‘Wide Brim’ hosta provides bright color in shade with its wonderful foliage. Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Wide Brim’ is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Due to its versatility and ease of care, along with its striking mounded form, ‘Wide Brim’ is a favorite of landscape designers! * Slug resistance * Clumping habit * Appealing foliage
