Grass - Pumila Dwarf Pampas - Sale Price: $64.25 Pumila Dwarf Pampas Grass, Cortaderia selloana 'Pumila', is probably one of the most impressive perennials we grow! 'Pumila' is a dwarf pampas grass with huge 18 inch feathery white plumes. The showy, silvery-cream plumes feel silky to the touch and are perfect for use in dried arrangements.  Cortaderia 'Pumila' is a very good grower and much more cold hardy than the species. 'Pumila' thrives in hot, full sun exposures and is especially useful as a specimen along walls and in corners. Plant it in moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in early-spring. 'Pumila' is sterile and won’t re-seed itself. Protect crowns of young plants in winter. After this plant is established it can be divided in the spring. Use this plant as a border, mass plantings, dried flowers, for edging, and as a specimen. Beautiful and it is deer resistant!

Grass - Shenandoah Switch - Sale Price: $37.95 The Grass 'Shenandoah Switch Grass', Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah', has a burgundy-red color to the foliage. This one starts out red in June, by mid-summer it looks like Bloodgrass, and in fall, it is a rich burgundy. The foliage starts out as deep green but takes on the red color thru the summer. The 4' height makes this a good choice for a specimen plant. It is one of the shortest Switch Grass varieties available. Given full sun and average soil, it is a moderate to fast grower. This plant will grow in dry to moist soils or well-drained, loamy, sandy or clay soils with a pH of a neutral to slightly alkaline. In early spring, before new growth begins, cut the old grass to the ground. If you want to divide the clump, do so in the spring. Its attributes include naturalizing, attracting birds and suitable for cut and dried flowers. A lot to love with this plant! Hosta - Queen of the Seas - Sale Price: $39.95 Hosta Queen of the Seas, Hosta 'Queen of the Seas', lets you make a statement in your garden.  This new dynamic, vibrant, blue hosta has a tall, upright form and forms a huge 48” clump! The 'Queen of the Seas' displays large, blue-green leaves that have wavy pie-crust margins, and are heart shaped. The near white flowers are produced in early to midsummer. Hosta 'Queen of the Seas' won the Best of Show award at the 1997 American Hosta Society national convention! In midsummer, the 'Queen of the Seas' clumps are topped with 3' spikes of lavender flowers.  In warmer southern zones, the color may deepen to green in summer.
