Blue Star typically grows to only 1 foot tall after 5 years, but eventually matures over time to 2-3' high. Features awl-shaped, silver blue foliage which is attractive year-round. Holly - Carissa - Sale Price: $64.25 The Holly 'Carissa', Ilex cornuta 'Carissa', is an outstanding dwarf and a dense grower. The leaves are dark glossy green with one spine at the tip. 'Carissa' grows best in rich, well-drained, slightly acid soil, and does well in full sun or part shade.
