Daylily - Sunny Honey - Sale Price: $49.95 The Daylily Sunny Honey, 'Hemerocallis 'Sunny Honey', is a repeat blooming daylily with a 3 1/2 inch honey yellow flower, with a green throat. It has evergreen foliage growing to 24 inches.  The plants do not usually require dividing for several years, but are easily split apart in fall or early spring.  The spent flower stems can be trimmed back after blooms are finished but wait to cut back the dead foliage until early spring. This plant should continue blooming from early summer to early fall.  'Sunny Honey' provides much enjoyment when planted in borders, containers, mass plantings, as a ground cover, and as cut flowers!  Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Grass - Shenandoah Switch - Sale Price: $37.95 The Grass 'Shenandoah Switch Grass', Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah', has a burgundy-red color to the foliage. This one starts out red in June, by mid-summer it looks like Bloodgrass, and in fall, it is a rich burgundy. The foliage starts out as deep green but takes on the red color thru the summer. The 4' height makes this a good choice for a specimen plant. It is one of the shortest Switch Grass varieties available. Given full sun and average soil, it is a moderate to fast grower. This plant will grow in dry to moist soils or well-drained, loamy, sandy or clay soils with a pH of a neutral to slightly alkaline. In early spring, before new growth begins, cut the old grass to the ground. If you want to divide the clump, do so in the spring.
