Coreopsis - Crème Brulee - Sale Price: $39.95 The Coreopsis ‘Crème Brulee’ is new to the market and has bright deep yellow flowers that blooms from June through October.  Belonging to the Tickseed family, ‘Crème Brulee’ has larger flowers than most Coreopsis in its family. (PPAF) ‘Crème Brulee’ has a plant height of 24” and a spread of 18”.  The bright green thread leaf foliage makes a great contrast with the flower color.  The large flowers occur all along the stems rather than just above the foliage, giving a fuller overall appearance. ‘Crème Brulee’ should be planted in full sun.  It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil.  The foliage is mildew-resistant and should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. A perfect sun-loving plant, it looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. Dianthus - Baths Pink - Sale Price: $35.65 The Dianthus ‘Bath’s Pink’, Dianthus gratianopolitanus, is a beautiful soft, light pink flower that is fringed and fragrant!   ‘Bath’s Pink’ was the 1999 Theodore Kein Plant Award Winner, and one can see why! The large 2 electric purple flowers will shower your landscape nearly all spring and summer! 'Purple Showers' blooms profusely in spring and then continues with sporadic flowering until fall. The 8 flower stems rise nicely above the foliage and make excellent cut flowers. Violets grow best in cool, moist, shady environments. In the north, plants can tolerate full sun but prefer partial to full shade. Shade from deciduous trees is ideal because the plants growing below receive full sun in the spring, followed by protection from the harsh summer sun once the trees get their leaves. Ajuga - Burgundy Glow - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’, Ajuga reptans, is a useful ground cover with short spikes of blue flowers. This Ajuga is one of the most popular, forming striking mounds of leaves dappled in green, pink and cream. During the wintertime, Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ develops rich bronze and burgundy tones. The flowers appear in late spring on 6” spikes with a plant spread of 12-18”. ‘Burgundy Glow’ should be planted 6-9” apart for a beautiful ground cover. Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ will do best in a shaded area but will adapt to morning sun. (The foliage colors will be more vivid with morning sun.) It prefers moist soil with a good drainage but will tolerate moderately dry areas. Do avoid soggy conditions. This Ajuga looks great in rock gardens, as a border plants, in mass plantings and is great for preventing erosion. It is relatively carefree; however, it can be invasive. Butterflies and hummingbirds are definitely attracted to Ajuga, not to mention being deer resistant and a low allergen.
