Clematis - Rubens - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Rubens, Clematis montana 'Rubens', is a Chinese species that produces masses of soft pink 2.5 flowers that look very attractive against the dark bronze-green foliage. It was awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit! Clematis montana 'Rubens' needs a supporting structure to grow properly and it is easy to grow with a rich, porous, alkaline soil that has plenty of room for the roots to spread.  It looks beautiful growing through large trees or conifers and can obtain a height over 20 feet!
