Coneflower - Kims Knee High
The Echinacea ‘Kim's Knee High’, Echinacea purpurea, also known as Coneflower, is an easy to grow flower that produces beautiful large flowers with deep pink petals and bright orange centers. ‘Kim’s Knee High’ is the newest and smallest variety to be added to the Echinacea family.  The large, fragrant flowers bloom from July to October and a major attractor to butterflies and bees and deer resistant, it is a must for any perennial gardens. With its dark green foliage, Echinacea ‘Kim's Knee High’ stands 2’ high with a plant spread of 12-23”. For best results, plant in full sun in a well drained area.  The large sturdy stems carry the large blossoms from midsummer to fall.   The coneflower is known for its large flower heads that turn to seed in the fall.  It is a great choice for cut flowers, and it adds a wilderness look to your garden. ‘Kim's Knee High’, usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improves general appearance. This coneflower keeps coming all summer on tall plants with excellent branching; deer resistant. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in fall their seeds provide winter food for birds.  You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well, because they will provide architectural interest in the winter. ‘Kim's Knee High’, will give you weeks of color and makes a dependable and lovely plant for any sunny garden spot!    * Fragrant * Hardy * Long lasting blooms

Daylily - Sombrero Way - DetailsDaylily - Sombrero Way - Sale Price: $49.95
The Daylily Sombrero Way, Hemerocallis 'Sombrero Way', is fast becoming one of the most popular daylilies for gardeners!  It produces large clumps of long grass-like leaves with showy clusters of ruffled, rich orange lily-like blooms on tall stems. It is hard to find a good quality daylily with a nice, solid orange color, but that's what ‘Sombrero Way’ provides!  This mid-summer bloomer is ideal for the middle to back of a border plant because it will grow 2’ tall and as wide. The grass-like foliage is attractive all season long, and it will be back again every year with only minimal winter protection. Try 'Sombrero Way' in mixed beds and borders, containers and large mass plantings.  Plant as a ground cover on slopes, where they form a dense mat in just a few years.; attracts butterflies. This daylily is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. Divide 'Sombrero Way' every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Deadheading spent buds and removing old scapes will improve overall look, but not improve plant performance.    Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.   'Sombrero Way' flourishes in northern regions because it thrives with minimal attention and care.  The most inept gardener couldn't stop these beauties from brightening up his or her garden! * Solid orange color * Hardy * Durable
