Bright green in color and soft textured, the foliage of the Calgary Carpet has a scale-like appearance and is soft to the touch. The layered branching habit of this plant gives the subtle appearance of soft undulations in the ground beneath it. Calgary Carpet would serve nicely in a small Zen garden, with it's ability to suggest a forest of undulating green. This juniper does well in dry soils that are well drained, and needs to have partial to full sun exposure. It's mature height rarely exceeds 9 but can spread to 10' wide or more.

Hosta 'Little Sunspot' was developed by Briggs Nursery and is a sport of 'Little Aurora'.  The small gold leaves are boldly edged with .5 green margins and are slightly cupped.  In midsummer, white flowers with delicate pale lavender stripes, are produced on 16 tall scapes.   'Little Sunspot' is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. Coreopsis - Crème Brulee - Sale Price: $39.95 The Coreopsis ‘Crème Brulee’ is new to the market and has bright deep yellow flowers that blooms from June through October.  Belonging to the Tickseed family, ‘Crème Brulee’ has larger flowers than most Coreopsis in its family. (PPAF) ‘Crème Brulee’ has a plant height of 24” and a spread of 18”.  The bright green thread leaf foliage makes a great contrast with the flower color.  The large flowers occur all along the stems rather than just above the foliage, giving a fuller overall appearance. ‘Crème Brulee’ should be planted in full sun.  It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil.  The foliage is mildew-resistant and should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. A perfect sun-loving plant, it looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. Yarrow - Moonshine - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Moonshine’, Achillea 'Moonshine'’, is an upright canary-yellow flower that blooms from June through September. With evergreen foliage in mild winter regions, this non-spreading Achillea is a definite winner. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is unlike the common Yarrow, being shorter in height and less invasive. The flower heads are 4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is a great addition to a sunny perennial border, planted in pots or combined with ornamental grasses. ‘Moonshine’ can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. Use this plant in borders, as cut and dried flowers, and in containers. Remove faded flowers to encourage more growth and divide every 3-4 years.
