These unique flowers open from the top down and bloom from June to September.  It is a major butterfly and bee attractor. The large 6 purple flowers appear in late July above slender but strong scapes. ‘Super Honor’ flowers open flat to reveal a large lemon-lime throat surrounded by a darker purple band on the petals; petals also display darker purple veining.
