Cotoneaster - Northern Bordersâ„¢ - Sale Price: $49.95 The Cotoneaster 'Northern Borders', Cotoneaster horizontalis 'Variegatus', is a slow growing, semi-evergreen groundcover with green leaves edged in white. It provides four seasons of interest: in spring this cotoneaster has rosy buds that open to tiny white flowers along the cinnamon-colored twigs. Later, the plant is laden with shiny scarlet fruit (¼ inch) liberally sprinkled throughout. These berries add color throughout winter, and provide food for songbirds and wildlife.
