Peony - Festiva Maxima - Sale Price: $42.75 The Peony Festiva Maxima, Paeonia lactiflora 'Festiva Maxima' is  considered to be one of the best double flowering peonies with white blossoms and a hint of pink peaking through the center of each bloom! The flowers are very fragrant, and after blooming has finished, you are left with a beautiful mound of glossy green foliage that stays attractive all season.  Peonies are one of the best cut flowers and are often used in the Midwest to decorate gravesites on Memorial Day.  It is not uncommon to see peonies planted along the driveway or lane in a mass.  All of our peonies are widely adaptable to most soils across the country. 'Festiva Maxima' blooms in mid to late spring and has very large, colorful blooms that stand out in the spring garden.  This peony can handle dry to moist sites, and does best in full sun but can handle some light shade; prefers rich well drained soil. Water the new plant frequently to help it get off to a strong start.  More often than not, this peony will not flower the first year because it will spend the first season establishing itself! Clematis - Fireworks - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Fireworks, Clematis 'Fireworks', explodes into color with beautiful 8 bluish purple flowers with glowing cerise central bars. The petals have a slight twist to them and are slightly recurved at the tips. This clematis will rebloom again in late summer with smaller 6 flowers. An outstanding variety with a vigorous growth habit, this clematis is best grown in a protected area to prevent wind damage to the very large flowers.   ‘Fireworks’ was Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Merit. Clematis 'Fireworks' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Rose of Sharon - Azurri Satin - Sale Price: $64.25 Hibiscus Azurri Satin, Hibiscus 'Azurri Satin®' Rose of Sharon, provides a brilliant blue color from midsummer through fall. This Satin cultivar boasts improved vigor, excellent performance, and show stopping color. The first-ever seedless Rose of Sharon, Hibiscus Azurri Satin® has large, rich blue flowers, ruffled margins, and deep red eye centers. This strong growing and easy to maintain shrub has a uniform habit and thrives in the warm sunshine. Keep it well watered during growth. Azurri Satin does best in full sun, but light shade is acceptable, especially in far southern or southwestern climates. It grows in about any soil unless it is either really wet or dry. If you want to use this Rose of Sharon for a hedge, you can shape it into the shrub you desire. It is best to prune in late fall or early spring. Peony - Karl Rosenfield - Sale Price: $71.35 The Peony 'Karl Rosenfield', 'Paeonia', a fall planted bulb, produces magnificent bright red flowers that are stunning in the garden and superb for cut flowers. During late spring-early summer, they fill the garden with fragrance. They also produce superb, long lasting cut flowers. They will bloom 3 to 4 weeks in late spring. The Peony tolerates some drought but thrives in moist, fertile, well-draining soil. If your soil is extremely acid, add some lime at planting time. Plant the roots with the eyes (buds) pointing up and place them 1 below the soil level. Peonies usually take a few years to establish and bloom heavily. For a tidy appearance, remove spent flowers after blooming. After a heavy frost, cut the foliage to the ground and remove from the area. Peonies do not need to be divided and can be left in place for years! Staking is recommended. Peonies attract butterflies and are great cut flowers and borders. They are also deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant.

Hosta - Yankee Blue - Sale Price: $39.95 The Hosta Yankee Blue, Hosta 'Yankee Blue', is a vigorous, fast growing blue colored hosta that will command attention in any garden or landscape! ‘Yankee Blue’ has elongated wedge-shaped leaves with wavy margins that hold their blue color all summer, then later in the season, the color changes to blue-green. Near white flowers appear on tall scapes in midsummer.  ‘Yankee Blue’ is a hosta that forms a full, symmetrical, wide mound that really brightens up a shady area. Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  'Yankee Blue' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  'Yankee Blue’ has a very good substance and excellent vigor, especially for a blue!  This may become your favorite blue hosta yet! * Large plant * Clumping habit * Appealing blue foliage
