The Althea 'China Chiffon', Hibiscus syriacus 'Bricutts', produces large single white flowers that are adorned with a red eye and a lacy center to create an anemone-like flower; performs even in cooler climates. A strong growth habit lends itself to pruning into a tree-form or upright shrub. 'China Chiffon' is great for borders, in a large container for a patio plant, or as a specimen plant, and it is deer resistant. Being a very easy growing and strong growing plant with lots of large blooms, this shrub will become the star in the garden from July through September with its bold yet delicate blooms!
