Rose - Scarlet Meidiland® - Groundcover
Rose - Scarlet Meidiland® - Groundcover Long Blooming Groundcover Rose The Scarlet Meidiland is a groundcover rose with summer-long blooms. It would be an outstanding addition to your landscape as a foundation planting or along a walkway. Your Scarlet Meidiland is one of the most vigorous growers of the Meidiland roses. The 1 ½-inch double blooms have slightly ruffled edges and begin in June. They continue to flower throughout the summer months. The Meidiland grows to about 2 feet high, but will spread out along the ground like a 6 foot carpet of scarlet perfection. It’s an impressive sight to be sure. The continuous bright red roses will create a spectacular display in your yard and their subtle fragrance is sure to please bees, butterflies and hummingbirds that will flock to your yard for the special treat. Your Scarlet Meidiland groundcover rose grows on its own root, so even if the top freezes out, it will still come back just as vigorous and beautiful as before. It’s disease resistant and tolerates some shade so it’s more variable than many rose plants. Even when not in bloom, the glossy, dark green foliage fills out the branches nicely and provides a handsome landscape addition and a unique groundcover. * Long-blooming* Hardy

| Rose - Redleaf - Shrub - Sale Price: $57.05 The Redleaf Rose, Rosa glauca, produces clear pink, fragrant flowers in June followed by long lasting bright red hips. The reddish-violet stems and beautifully colored foliage, purple in sunny locations, gray green with mauve in shady areas, are prized by flower arrangers. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Many times this rose is grown for its beautiful foliage and hips. The foliage has a reddish tint to it throughout the summer and then it turns even redder in the fall! Redleaf produces many orange-red hips in the fall. This rose then becomes ornamental in the fall and all winter long! Use this rose for fall and winter interest, as a specimen, accent shrub, or a flowering hedge. Very hardy and disease resistant! Pink flowers and red foliage—Beautiful! |
| Rose - White Rugosa - Shrub - Sale Price: $57.05 White Rugosa Rose, Rosa rugosa alba, is like Rosa rugosa, but this white rose adapts to a variety of conditions, including where salt tolerance is a concern. It is salt-tolerant so it is useful in northern climates along roadside or driveways that are being deiced regularly with salt. Its pale blush pink buds open to highly fragrant snow-white blooms with creamy yellow stamens. In fall, the disease resistant foliage takes on shades of orange and scarlet to accompany the large orange red hips. This Rugosa develops 1 inch orange/red berries (hips) in August which last through the winter to provide food for wildlife. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. It grows 3 to 6 feet, depending on how you prune and its access to full sun, but it will tolerate partial shade. White Rugosa is quite drought resistant once established. This easy to grow hedge rose is completely winter hardy. * Fast growing * Fragrant |
