Russian Sage - Lacey Blue, Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Lacey Blue', is a valued landscape perennial and boasts the largest flowers of any Russian Sage! It is a perennial with an exceptionally long season of interest. Forming a bushy mound of fragrant grey-green leaves, Lacey Blue bears copious spikes of deep blue flowers from mid-summer into early fall. The grayish green foliage is scented and carries a cloud of small deep blue flowers on wide stems. This plant offers a charming, open airy feel to a garden. Lacey Blue is great for smaller gardens and terrific in mixed containers. Lacey Blue is easy to grow, drought tolerant once established, and its dense bushy branching prevents flopping, which can be a big problem with Russian Sage. Prune back to 6 inches in the spring; deer resistant.
