Russian Sage - Little Spire
The Perovskia ‘Little Spire Sage’, Perovskia atriplicifolia, is an exciting new variety to the Sage family. Growing only 3’ high with a plant spread of 12-18”, Little Spire has an upright sheaf of aromatic, silver stems.  The lavender-purple flowers make a great contrast with its silvery, fragrant foliage.  For repeat bloom, deadhead this plant.  This Little Spire is one that should not be missed. It offers an attractive winter foliage too. ‘Little Spire’ should be grown in a full sun, and it is drought tolerant; tolerates dry soil.  It grows best in a well-drained area. ‘Little Spire’ looks superb anywhere in the garden and is an excellent choice for hot, dry spaces. Clematis Patricia Ann Fretwell, Clematis 'Patricia Ann Fretwell™', is the first double flowering red and pink clematis! The outer tepals are reddish pink, fading to pale pink at the edges, the inner tepals are palest pink with a narrow deep pink stripe.  The stamens are creamy-white. The Hosta Regal Supreme, Hosta 'Regal Supreme', displays its wavy, attractive frosty blue leaves on an upright vase-shaped plant.  Each leaf has a wide creamy yellow margin. As the summer progresses, the leaves’ colors change to blue-green with wide, creamy white margins.  This exciting hosta is topped by lavender flowers in mid through late summer on very tall scapes; hummingbirds will come often to visit!
