The sharply toothed leaves are lime green, lance-shaped, to 5 inches long.  In the fall the foliage changes to an orange-red color with red stems.   This deciduous plant is good as a filler when used with other green-leafed plants, or is a great plant for massing. Producing showy pink flat flower clusters all summer, Limemound takes little maintenance and is easy to grow.  Prune in late winter or early spring, if needed.
