This very reliable water lily is one of the most prolific varieties available, and its smaller size makes it a perfect choice for anything from a container garden to a small or medium-sized pond. Many growers feel this is the finest white hardy lily due to its freedom of bloom and always-dependable performance. The white flowers are 4-6 inches wide, the leaves are 8-9 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 3-4 feet wide. This plant grows best in full to partial sun. The Sedum 'Angelina, was developed in a private garden in Croatia. 'Angelina' has brilliant, needle-shaped, golden yellow foliage. It is a very vigorous mat-forming plant Angelina’s prefer well drained soil and to be kept on the dry side. It does well in a gritty soil or in a pot with its trailing habit. Sedum ‘Angelina’ needs to be planted in full sun in well-drained soil. It will tolerate most soil types and is drought resistant. It can be planted with asters or coneflowers for a wonderful autumn display. ‘Angelina’ is a great choice for beds and borders and excellent as cut flowers. Use this sedum in a container on a hot deck. It will not mind missing a watering or so throughout the seasons! It is also a great butterfly and bee attractor and is disease resistant. Periwinkle - DetailsPeriwinkle - Sale Price: $39.95
Periwinkle, Vinca minor, is also known as Trailing Myrtle, Dwarf Periwinkle and Creeping Myrtle. This species of Periwinkle is one of the most popular and widely used ground covers. Trailing stems with smooth, evergreen leaves (to 1.5 long) root at the nodes as they go along the ground and quickly spread to form an attractive ground cover. Tubular, lavender blue, phlox-like flowers (to 1 inch across) appear in the leaf axils in spring and continue to flower intermittently throughout summer into fall. Foliage will mound up to 6 tall. Periwinkles are used as a versatile ground cover and provide good cover for bulb beds. Effective on slopes or banks to stabilize soils and prevent erosion. Easily grown in average, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. It tolerates full shade, but it prefers moist, humusy soils in part shade. Plant 12-18 apart to cover large areas. This evergreen perennial is similar in all ways to Vinca Major except the flower is a little smaller.

Grass - Variegated Feather Reed, Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Overdam', displays white and green leaves, and its smaller size makes it more refined than 'Karl Forester'. In some ways, it is even more pleasing than its big brother, Karl. It has medium blade width and flowers in June through July. It will most likely remain upright throughout the winter. Variegated Feather Reed does well in heavy clay soils, unlike many of the other ornamental grasses. It provides an excellent vertical accent for borders and for narrow spaces in the landscape. It is also effective in moist low spots or on pond/stream banks. With ample moisture it will do well in full sun, but likes a little shade in hot climates. Variegated Feather Reed works well as a specimen, or incorporated into a border and makes a good low screen, especially in somewhat shady areas. Use as a backdrop for roses and other perennials. It should be cut back in early spring, just before the new growth starts. The Grass 'Porcupine', Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus', has green leaves with cream colored horizontal bands. These leaves make this ornamental grass stand out anywhere! Silvery white plumes rise 4 feet above the foliage in fall. The 'Porcupine' tolerates a wide range of soil types and is moderately drought tolerant. It will hold up to wind and snow. This grass has a rigid, upright habit and stiff, pointed leaf blades, some of which stick out at angles like porcupine quills. Use this plant as a specimen, for mass plantings, or plant next to ponds or pools. Water this grass regularly, mainly during the season when they are blooming, as you need to have well developed roots so that the grass can absorb enough nutrition from the soil. When clumps dry in the fall they add structural interest to the winter garden. In early spring remove the dead foliage before the plants begins new growth. Clumps may be divided every 3 years or so in early spring. It is deer resistant and has very has very little pest and disease issues. Tall, tough, and showy!

Coreopsis - Zagreb - DetailsCoreopsis - Zagreb - Sale Price: $49.95
The Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’, Coreopsis verticillata, is a prolific bloomer of bright yellow flowers that bloom from June through October. Winner of the 2001 RHS Award of Garden Merit, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is a little shorter than the rest of the Coreopsis family. With a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”, its delicate dark green foliage has an airy and delicate appearance. ‘Zagreb’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens. No garden should be without it.
