Northern Sea Oats - River Mist - Sale Price: $56.95 The Northern Sea Oats River Mist, Chasmanthium latifolium 'River Mist' PP# 20643, is a carefree, easy to grow grass that provides light and texture to a shaded area with its handsome green blades and dramatic white stripes. Add a vivid look to your garden with this unique plant! It makes an amazing specimen or container plant, reaching heights of 30-36 inches. River Mist has an upright form until the flowers appear as graceful, drooping greenish blooms. As the flower stalks expand in early summer, the blooms are replaced by clusters of white seed heads in late summer. The arching seed heads mature to a purple-bronze color and make a nice accent when left on through the winter; use for flower arrangements. It is quite adaptable, preferring to grow in average to wet conditions, and will even tolerate some standing water; tolerant of urban pollution and deer resistant.

Hosta - Little Sunspot - Sale Price: $39.95 Hosta Little Sunspot, Hosta 'Little Sunspot', is cute and petite. This small hosta is great for containers or landscape edging. Hosta 'Little Sunspot' was developed by Briggs Nursery and is a sport of 'Little Aurora'.  The small gold leaves are boldly edged with .5 green margins and are slightly cupped.  In midsummer, white flowers with delicate pale lavender stripes, are produced on 16 tall scapes.   'Little Sunspot' is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. It grows well in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant 'Little Sunspot' in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves. Bee Balm - Petite Delight - Sale Price: $64.25 The Monarda 'Petite Delight', Monarda didyma, also known as Bee Balm, Bergamont, Horsemint, Oswego Tea, is a clump-forming perennial that has tubular, two-lipped, light red to purple flowers with dark green aromatic foliage. 'Petite Delight' stands at 15' high and has a plant spread of 12-18 and blooms from July to August. It is one of the smallest Monarda in its family and has the darkest foliage. If deadheaded, (remove old flowers from a plant) longer bloom times will be encouraged.   Needs to be planted in full sun, but will tolerate afternoon shade. Petite Delights are best grown in rich soil in a well-drained area, not being allowed to dry out. The leaves of Monarda can be used for teas and in salads, and attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. Daylily - Happy Returns - Sale Price: $39.95 The Hemerocallis ‘Happy Returns’, also known as a Daylily, is a very fragrant pale yellow flower with a diameter of 3”. With its dark green foliage, this daylily will reach a height of 18” and a spread of 12-24”.  ‘Happy Returns’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color, and it is a definite rebloomer! ‘Happy Returns’ prefers a full sun area that is well drained.  Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall).  ‘Happy Returns’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant.   Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  It will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions.
