Marliacea Carnea Water Lily - Sale Price: $29.95 The faint blush pink of the flowers look almost white on first glance.  This outstanding ‘Marliacea Carnea’ water lily is suited to any size pond, particularly medium to large ponds.  It even tends to bloom in partially shaded ponds! This free-flowering variety was hybridized by Latour-Marliac Nurseries in 1880, and it is still considered one of their finest creations.   It needs plenty of space to grow, so makes an excellent choice for a lake or large, deep, wildlife pond.  Its dark green leaves create a shady underwater habitat for native fish and amphibians.  The faint pink flowers are 4-5 inches wide, the leaves are 7-8 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 4-5 feet.  Blooming from June to September, the showy, vanilla-scented, semi-double, pale pink flowers with golden-yellow centers are a colorful addition to any pond! Hibiscus - Party Favor - Sale Price: $71.25 Hibiscus Party Favor (Rose Mellow), Hibiscus moscheutos 'Party Favor', forms a large clumping habit that makes this plant a “stand alone” in the landscape because of its extended bloom time! From midsummer until frost, the large, long lasting blooms will create a striking display.  ‘Party Favor’ has large rose-pink buds that open to glossy, medium pink flowers that have overlapping petals with red eye centers.  This hibiscus is a super long-blooming plant that produces large dinner plate-sized 8-10 inch wide pink blossoms! 'Party Favor' has highly dissected, green leaves on nicely branched red stems.  Moist soils are best, but this hardy hibiscus is very drought tolerant as well.  Perennial Hibiscus should be cut back to 4-6 from the ground in the spring. It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture.  Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be careful to not over-water until plants show signs of growth.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring.  For best performance, plant in full sun in moist soil, before the heat of the summer. Winner of the 2001 RHS Award of Garden Merit, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is a little shorter than the rest of the Coreopsis family. With a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”, its delicate dark green foliage has an airy and delicate appearance. ‘Zagreb’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens.
